Bob Chapman : The reason the stock market was going up is because the insiders who make the inside information told the FED , because they own it this is the way it is going to be ...the FED is buying 83% of that paper right now because they do not have anybody to sell to , whether it is treasury or agency , so there is nobody to sell to so they got to make new money and credit digitally ....
MUMBAI, FEB 26: Silver prices flared up and gold also ended firmer on the bullion market here Friday. The sharp rise in silver prices was mainly attributed to heavy industrial demand with stockists anticipating increase in excise duties on imports of silver in the ensuing budget. Bullish overseas advices also helped the firm trend.
The yellow metal improved moderately on scattered local buying. Silver ready .999 fineness shot up by Rs 125 to Rs 8375 per kg and tenderable silver by the same margin to Rs 8380 from the previous close of Rs 8250 and Rs 8255 respectively. Raw silver .916 fineness flared up by Rs 160 to Rs 8265 per kg from the last close of Rs 8105.
Standard gold edged up by Rs 5.00 to Rs 4375 from the last close of Rs 4370. 22-carat gold was nominally quoted higher by Rs 5.00 to Rs 4045 from the previous close of Rs 4040. Ten-tola gold bar .999 purity improved by Rs 50 to Rs 51,300 from Rs 51,250 previously.
